Our Whippets in Dog Magazine |
In May we got a phonecal from a dog magazine with the question 'would we like to partisipate for an interview and a photoshoot about the whippet?' their Breed of the month July would be the whippet ,of corse we said yes to the oportunaty to partisipate and bring our lovely breed little closer to the public . This time our journey went to Italy, we had entered 3 dogs for the Italian sight hound specialty and 2 dogs for the coursing the next day witch was de 2 lap of eurocup. The show was held at the beautiful surroundings of lake Garda on the domaine of the West Garda Hotel . There where entered 133 whippets for this specialty and 44 whippets for the coursing the following day . Our judge for the show was Claire Newcombe from USA. Here the results from our bunch:Ch Class My Camelot Sinan 3Ex Interm class ,Canoodles Hamilton 4 Vg and finnaly our little Canoodle's IgraSlov who surprised us with an 2 Exin a class of 14 young females. The next day at the coursing Her daddy Canoodle's Fitjar surprised us too with winning the coursing and taking the C.A.C.L with an exellent,his mother Hunting Free Eternity took 6 place and olso with an exellent . At the weekend of 3 April we partisipated at the coursing in Genk ,there we where happy to take a famely picture of some of Eternity's childeren and grandchilderen ,we are proud to say that both childeren and grandchilderen are stepping in grandma's sporting footsteps . At the weekend of 16-17 January we atended the international dog show of Ljubljana.Sinan needed only one more cac for the slovenian Championship .Saturday he got the reserve and at the specialty he took his second reserve cac, still needing a full cac and as sunday was his last chance i started to get very nerveous ,But he made it !he got the cac and became Slovenian Champion !!!
We would like to thank all the judges that appreciated him ,a special thanks to his breeder Zoran Sordjan for letting us have this handsome boy, and also thanks to our Slovenian friends Barbara and Bostjan for the nice photo's.
